Payroll Assistant

Job Description

To conduct Payroll support for all CHG Agency employees (b-weekly paid) and to ensure the accuracy of Payroll-related information of all employees and potential recruits. The incumbent liaises with Hospitals to ensure the accuracy of processing, and adherence to relevant RSA legislation.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

Diploma in HR or Payroll.

Minimum Experience

Minimum of 2 Years experience in Payroll. Knowledgeable in Payroll processes. Must have SAP experience Kronos is advantageous Healthcare experience is advantageous.

DELIVERABLES

Provide administrating support to payroll administrators and manager Contribute to the processing of weekly payroll for agency staff Prepare bi-weekly payment schedules and payment requests Prepare all UIF documentation in support of terminations, maternity leave and other applicable processes Ensure all employees are registered with JEM Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and employee records Provide clarity on Payroll issues raised by various stakeholders Ensure timeous resolution of stakeholder queries and complaints and take ownership of issues Ensure complete, timeous and accurate reporting with appropriate levels of escalation to enable effective decision-making Perform monthly reconciliations of all payroll accounts * Maintain electronic employee records
