As part of our pastry team, you will help prepare, produce, and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while ensuring consistency, precision, and creative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and produce pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and plating standards.
Maintain full mise-en-place and keep your section clean, organized, and ready for service.
Uphold strict hygiene, safety, and food handling standards (HACCP).
Collaborate closely with the pastry and kitchen team to deliver seamless service.
Take initiative in learning, tasting, and refining your pastry techniques.
Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Pastry or Professional Cookery (advantageous).
6-12 months' experience in a professional pastry, bakery, or hotel kitchen.
Strong foundational pastry skills - mixing, piping, folding, glazing, and tempering.
Attention to detail, time management, and creative flair.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a high-performance environment.
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
