Description
As a Pastry Commis Chef, you will work alongside the pastry team to produce high-quality, beautifully presented desserts and pastries in line with the restaurant's fine dining standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing pastry mise-en-place and assisting with the production of desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
• Following recipes and plating guidelines with precision to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene within the pastry section at all times.
• Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and correct storage of ingredients.
• Supporting senior pastry chefs in experimenting with seasonal and innovative creations.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and internal kitchen protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Culinary qualification, preferably with a pastry specialisation.
• Ideally 1-2 years' experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in a 4- or 5-star or fine dining environment.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for pastry arts.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
