As Pastry Commis Chef, you will assist the pastry team with preparation, mise-en-place, plating, and maintaining consistency across all dessert offerings. You will ensure that recipes, quality standards, and hygiene protocols are followed at all times. Daily responsibilities include ingredient preparation, stock rotation, assisting with deliveries, and supporting senior chefs during service. Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 plus Culinary Certificate/Diploma
• 1-2 years' experience as Commis Chef, preferably in a fine dining or luxury restaurant environment
• Knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Self-discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure
