Purpose Of The Job:
Our Client requires an experienced and knowledgeable Dealer Principal to join their multi-franchise and head the team in ensuring a smoothly run, productive and effective dealership. To implement processes and build the team and branch to high performance levels.
Duties:

• Manage the complete dealership, including sales of parts, and service departments
• Develop, align, and implement sound business strategies to achieve dealership goals
• Measure the delivers of operational plans, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
• Ensure business retention while driving the expansion of new business opportunities
• Manage budgets to align with operational plans and monitor performance, and report on variances
• Drive sales targets, customer satisfaction, and overall dealership profitability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders
• Lead, coach, and develop the team to ensure high performance and excellent service delivery

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as Senior Management in a Dealer Principal role within a dealership environment
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in the motor industry, specifically car dealerships
• Extensive knowledge and strong background of passenger vehicles
• Presentable, sales-oriented, trustworthy, and skilled in building lasting relationships
• Well-connected within the motor industry
• Proficient in dealership management software (Evolve)
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and advanced MS Excel skills
• National Senior Certificate
• Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
