We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-time Bookkeeper to join our innovative real estate tech company. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting our financial operations. (Fully Remote)
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. (Not much - this is a part-time role.)
Assist in developing and monitoring budgets to support business objectives.
Compliance & Accuracy:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Support tax preparation.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits.
Collaboration & Adaptability:
Work closely with other departments to align financial processes with business goals.
Adapt to evolving financial needs and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Provide clear and concise financial updates to team members and leadership.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or financial accounting.
Familiarity with real estate operations is a plus but not required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in QuickBooks Online (required).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information clearly.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
