Parts Manager

Role Summary

The Parts Manager oversees the full parts operation for a multi-brand dealership environment, ensuring optimal stock availability, strong supplier relationships, accurate forecasting, and high service levels to internal workshop teams and external customers. This position requires a proven track record in managing a high-volume, multi-franchise parts department.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5 years'

experience as a Parts Manager in an automotive dealership environment (non-negotiable). Solid tenure and verifiable performance history. Strong working knowledge of OEM parts processes, pricing structures, logistics, and inventory control. Proficiency in dealership management systems such as Kerridge, Automate, Evolve, or similar. Valid driver's license.

Core Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full parts department, including counter sales, internal workshop support, stock control, and procurement. Maintain optimal stock levels through accurate forecasting, cycle counts, and shrinkage control. Drive profitability through margin management, supplier negotiations, and strategic parts sourcing. Ensure timely availability and turnaround of parts for workshop and retail customers. Implement and enforce OEM standards, processes, and reporting requirements. Oversee parts staff performance, training, and compliance with company policies. Monitor financial performance, including budgets, GP targets, and monthly reporting. Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
