Job Description
SALES ASSISTANT- TOKAI
As a Sales Assistant you will be involved in the retail of books and associated products. You will combine a strong customer focus with sound knowledge of your stock and wider book market to help customers locate books and to offer information and advice about different books available.
Key Performance Areas:
Assisting with in-store and window display's Rotation of displays and best seller displays Walk- in customers enquires Phone in customer enquires Timeously dealing with customer orders Assist with interbranch transfers Being aware of non-shoppers and shoplifters by focusing on customer service Maintaining up to date knowledge of current new releases and changes in the market. Assist with upselling and cross-selling including substitutes and alternative. Assist with waiting list items and special orders Working on POS and speed-point machine House-keeping and maintaining store standards Any other reasonable request by management
Requirements:
Book Knowledge ( Advantageous )
At least 1years in a customer service position
Attention to detail
Neat and professional appearance
Urgent turn-around time on customer enquires
Work continuously on building relationships with customers
Enjoys reading a big advantage
Job Type: Part-time
