Job Description
Prepares surfaces, applies protective coatings
Applies paint to enhance and protect various structures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Key responsibilities include: surface preparation such as sanding and filling cracks, protecting surrounding areas, mixing paints, applying finishes with brushes, rollers, or sprayers, and maintaining a clean and safe work environmen.
Covering floors, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths and tape to prevent paint damage
Assembling scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment needed for painting.
Mixing paints to achieve the desired color and consistency, and applying paints, stains, primers, and sealants using various tools.
Cleaning painting equipment and the job site, and properly disposing of debris and waste

: The ability to work in various positions, lift heavy materials, and work in different environments.Attention to Detail
: A keen eye for detail to ensure a high-quality and accurate finish.Safety Awareness
: Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work area.Material Knowledge
: Understanding different types of paints, coatings, and finishes and how to apply them effectively.Qualifications;
N1-N3 Painting qualification with a minimum of 3-4 years of workplace experience or a Grade 11 and a Seta qualification (NQF 3 or 4) with similar experience. Red Seal Certificate accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) 5-6 Years of experience (mandatory)
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: R15000,00 - R18000,00 per month
