Spray Painter
Job Description
Responsible for preparing parts, sanding and assemblies for painting of truck trailers
Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula
Ensure facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition
Responsible for the identification and separation of non-conforming parts or materials and report them to supervisors
Utilize spray gun and apply paint in conformance with all specifications
Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes.
Scrutinize and measure parts to maintain statistical process control charts.
Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to discover defects/deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments.
Utilize solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment.
Follow company requirements to select paint, and match colors of paint following specified color charts.
Responsible for material and minor maintenance.
Requirements
:Spray-painting certificate or qualification.
Trailer technician by knowledge and experience with at least 3-years' experience.
Focus on details and quality of work on trailers.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to R10500,00 per month
