Our processing facilities are located in and around Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria.Job description:The Boilershop department currently has a vacancy for a hardworking, dedicated Painter to join their team. The successful candidate must be able to perform general painting of fabricated structures, parts, equipment, machinery, as well as buildings and offices. The successful candidate must have knowledge of both water and solvent based paints, selecting and premixing paint colours, thinning and drying as well as surface preparation. The successful candidate must ensure painting work is performed in a well-ventilated area. The successful candidate must furthermore ensure that their work space is kept neat and tidy (housekeeping), and tools and equipment is kept clean and operational for the job.Qualifying Criteria:

• Must have matric, Grade 11 will be considered
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar environment (Steel and or Industrial environment) as a Painter
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Rules
• Ability to work under challenging conditions
• Ability to follow instructions
• Excellent communication skills

• Hard-working and self-motivated

• Must be prepared to work overtime and weekends when required
• Must be available to work December and Easter Shutdowns
• Strength to handle materials & tools (physically fit)
• Must have sober habits
• Good hand-eye coordination

• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Time management and organizational skills
• Excellent standards in execution
