Octane Marketing is seeking a

high-performing Paid Media Specialist

with strong experience in

lead generation within the South African market

.



This is not a social media manager role -- we're looking for a

data-driven performance marketer

who can

plan, execute, and manage

LEAD campaigns across

Google, Meta, TikTok

, and other digital channels to deliver measurable business results.



You'll have full accountability for your channels -- from strategy and setup through to optimisation, reporting, and briefing creative updates. If you thrive on performance metrics, data insights, and driving efficient lead growth, this role is for you.




Key Responsibilities






Plan, execute, and optimise

end-to-end paid media campaigns

across: + Google Search, Display, and Performance Max + Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
+ TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, and YouTube
Develop and implement

lead generation strategies

tailored to South African market behaviour and audience segmentation. Manage campaigns through all stages --

strategy, setup, testing, optimisation, and reporting.

Continuously optimise towards CPL, CPA, and conversion targets, balancing cost efficiency with lead quality. Brief creative teams on ad assets, messaging, and updates to align visuals and copy with campaign objectives. Leverage

QlikSense

and

LeadByte

for data insights, lead tracking, and real-time performance reporting. Create clear, actionable reports for internal teams and clients, highlighting insights, learnings, and next steps. Research new platforms, formats, and bidding strategies to stay ahead of digital performance trends. Collaborate with design, content, and CRM teams to ensure seamless lead flow and nurturing. Maintain complete ownership and accountability for campaign budgets, pacing, and results across all channels.


Minimum 3 years' experience

managing paid media campaigns, with a proven track record in

lead generation

for South African audiences. Hands-on experience managing campaigns on: +

Meta Ads

+

Google Ads

(Search, Display, Performance Max)
+ Experience with

TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Microsoft Ads

is advantageous.
Strong understanding of

conversion funnels, audience segmentation

, and

lead quality optimisation

. Proficient in

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

, conversion tracking, and attribution modelling. Analytical and data-focused with excellent problem-solving ability. Highly organised and able to manage multiple client campaigns and deliverables simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights confidently. Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable -- able to operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.



Nice to Have






Experience in

financial services, insurance, or automotive

industries. Background in

agency environments

managing multiple performance accounts. Familiarity with

CRM systems and lead flow management

.
