Role overview
Solutions-focused Operations Manager to lead the delivery engine of our business.
You'll oversee a team of specialists and managers - from logistics to vendors to staffing and network connectivity - and work side-by-side with Event Managers to ensure events go off without a hitch.
Duties
- Providing leadership, coordination, and performance management across all operational teams
- Designing and refining systems and workflows for repeatable, high-quality delivery
- Managing weekly and event-specific planning, delivery timelines, handovers, and post-event wrap-ups
- Anticipating and addressing delivery issues, resource gaps, and infrastructure challenges before they escalate
- Ensuring stock, kits, tech, and human resources are prepped and deployed efficiently
- Driving operational reporting, cost controls, and continuous process improvement
- Working closely with department heads and clients to align expectations and delivery scope
- Championing internal collaboration, constructive feedback, and team culture
- 35+ years experience in operations, logistics, or delivery management - working in events, production
- Youve led multi-disciplinary teams and understand how to get everyone pulling in the same direction
- Matric
- Valid drivers license and own car
- Advantages:
- Experience working with hardware/logistics systems
- Familiarity with connectivity/network planning
- Understanding of vendor and staff management dynamics
