A exciting opportunity has become available to join a International investment management company as an Operations Analyst. They are currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious graduate to join their team, based here in Cape Town. You will be part of the Operations team, managing the efficient operational administration for the team.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Operations Manager and Chief Operating Officer providing accurate and timeous information to the Investment team
• Maintain client information on cloud-based network
• Manage disbursements, verify transaction information; schedule and prepare disbursements; payment authorization
• Reconcile interest ; note charges and refunds; prepare invoices; identify any irregularities
• Monitor financial information, ensure all parties comply with pre-agreed loan agreements
• Review security provided by all parties
• Identify risks and report it to operations manager for further assessment
• Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as may be required
• Contribute to and adhere to compliance procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of completed tertiary qualification accounting/ finance or economics
• 1-2 years experience in Financial Services Operations is advantageous
• Previous knowledge and understanding of asset-based lending, financial statements would be advantageous
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks and priorities
• Must be a good team player, who is able to work well with limited supervision
• Client service focussed
• Excellent planning and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
