ICAPE Trax is a manufacturer of Printed Circuit Boards located in Diep River, Cape Town. We invite highly motivated suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Laboratory Analyst on a permanent basis.
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate (NQF 5), Diploma (NQF 6) in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent.
- Record of good academic performance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge and competency in Titrations, Atomic Absorption Spectrometry.
- Willingness and ability to learn new analytical methods.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good planning and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to multi-task and learn.
Key responsibilities
- Routine and non-routine wet chemical analysis of electroplating solutions according to SOPxe2x80x99s.
- Recording data and results with accuracy.
- Reporting findings to the Laboratory Manager.
- Attending to laboratory housekeeping.
- Verification and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Ensuring safety guidelines are strictly followed.
- Communication and interaction with plant personnel.
- Assist in process troubleshooting relating to chemical problems. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
