KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Stakeholder engagement
1.1 Liaise with, coordinate, and ensure the resolution of specific cases by appointed attorneys;
1.2 Consult with relevant external stakeholders;
1.3 Attend to escalated complaints of a legal nature from internal units;
1.4 Assessing, advising on, and assisting with legal matters affecting employees in the course and scope of their employment andthe TETA;
1.5 Attend chamber meetings and ensure proper and orderly conduct of meetings;
1.6 Collaborate with other departments to direct, investigate or resolve issues of compliance.

2. Legal
2.1 Prepare legal Correspondence;
2.2 Drafting of all forms of legal documents;
2.3 Drafting Contractual Agreements (MoUs and SLAs) between TETA and external parties and safeguarding of information;
2.4 Update company Policies and Charters;
2.5 Obtain assistance or legal opinion from legal service providers were deemed necessary;
2.6 Attend to identified legal risks and provide appropriate courses of action be taken timeously;
2.7 Providing legal management advice to management especially on contract management.

3. Compliance
3.1 Provide advisory legal services to the organisation;
3.2 Develop/Review procedures to comply with new and impending legislation and codes;
3.3 Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and issue corrective action mitigation strategies;
3.4 Monitor the implementation of legal and contract duties by parties involved;
3.5 Maintain policy compliance with legislation.

4. Manage personal performance and training
4.1 Submit own performance agreements development and submit to HR before deadline;
4.2 Submit own performance assessments and reviews implementation;
4.3 Manage own personal development plans submission, approval and implementation;
4.4 Contribute to monitoring of performance and training of interns.

5.Supervision
5.1 Supervise the work of the administrators and allocated Interns and administrators.

6. Reporting
6.1 Prepare and submit quarterly reports as required in compliance with organisational reporting;
6.2 Submit analysis report of all events undertaken including career development initiatives;
6.3 Coordinate inventory reporting and prepare motivations to replenish marketing, branding and promotional materials;
6.4 Submit analysis digital communication reports;
6.5 Any other duties or ad hoc matters relevant to the position / department as delegated by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience and Qualification

  • M+3 qualification in bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in law or LLB or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Admitted Legal Practitioner
  • Minimum of 4 yearsxe2x80x99 legal experience
  • Corporate legal knowledge
2. Knowledge and Skills
2.1 Knowledge and understanding of:
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to continuously develop new skills and knowledge and to undertake a variety of tasks.
  • Flexibility xe2x80x93 the ability to adapt and change in the light of changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
2.2. Skills:
  • Computer skills including MS Word; MS Excel; MS Outlook; MS Power Point.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Proven excellency in the English language (written and verbal).
  • Administration skills;
  • Excellent time management skills.
