National Operations Manager
Job Description
RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced NATIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER for a large concern, position based in the Pietermaritzburg area, KwaZulu-Natal.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
English speaking (person must be able to speak, read and write in English competently).
Degree or Diploma in Production and Business Management.
5yrs+ previous working experience in a senior management position.
Drivers license / own reliable vehicle.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
Strong staff management / leadership skills.
Working experience in customer liaison is essential with extensive knowledge of feed milling (specifically milling and logistics).
Knowledge of the animal production industry and its players as well as safety and risk management.
Excellent coordinating skills to initiate and lead projects.
Work experience in Africa and experience with different cultures is an added advantage.
Person must be willing to travel regularly throughout the year to the different branches.
Person will be required to work long hours.
This position would only suit someone who enjoys a challenging position.
