NATIONAL FACTORY OUTLET MANAGER position available with a well-established retail brand. The National Factory Outlet Manager will be based at head office in Houghton Estate, Johannesburg and will be responsible in managing and overseeing all the outlet stores nationally; currently being Johannesburg (2), Pretoria (1) and Cape Town (2), therefore travelling will form part of the role.

The main responsibility of the Factory Outlet Manager will be to manage end of season products into the outlet stores and to grow the outlet store network.

The Factory Outlet Manager must have a valid South African drivers license with his/her own vehicle and be willing to work weekends and public holidays as expected of them from time to time.

Duties & Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

- Manage end of season products into the outlets

- Expand outlet store network

- Overall responsible for the day-to-day running of the outlets

- Maximise profit while minimizing cost

- Managing the store teams including Managers, Assistant Managers and permanent and flexi Sales Consultants

- Ensure excellent customer care standards are met

- Managing stock levels and making key decision on stock control and merchandising

- Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales

Requirements:

- Must have at least 4 years experience working in a Factory Outlet store, preferably in the fashion industry

- Experience managing more than one store would be an added advantage

- Candidate must have matric, tertiary qualification would be an added advantage

- Must be sales focused with a proven sales track record

- A thorough & practical grasp of the day to day management of a store

- Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to use your own initiative

- Excellent communication skills, must be fluent in English

- Knowledge and ability to effectively apply company strategy/ policy/ procedure at outlet level

- Outstanding leadership skills

- Ability of manage a functional team

- GO-GETTER attitude and positive outlook on life

- Ability to work independently
