Job Overview:

Seeking a National Continuous Improvement Manager with a strong background in financial modelling analytics, data analytics, and project/cost accounting to join our National Distribution Centre Continuous Improvement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for solving business challenges through the use of financial models with the overall aim of improvement efficiency and cost reduction.

A core part of the role would be analysing and interpreting data to identify trends and patterns that can help optimize inventory management, supply chain, and warehouse operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in industrial engineering, mathematics or accounting
  • Specialisation in Finance & Quantitative Modelling for Analysts would be an advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and financial modelling with a focus on supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL an advantage.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS or Azure and/or Data Lakes is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and patterns that can help optimize inventory management, supply chain and warehouse operations.
  • Build financial models based on historical information and other available operating metrics.
  • Conduct scenario analysis based on microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to assess business risk.
  • Evaluate the companiesxe2x80x99 operations using various financial valuation methods, such as DCF, comparable company analysis, capital structure analysis etc.
  • Ensure the new modelsxe2x80x99 accuracy while enhancing the existing modelsxe2x80x99 quality.
  • Recommend and implement process improvement measures.
  • Identify key financial and non-financial risks and advise mitigants for those risks.
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis with the intent to support business operations.
  • Analyse and identify data required to support model tracking.
  • Analyse WMS data points to identify areas of improvement from labour management, productivity, efficiency and operational flow.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Core Knowledge and Skills:
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financial modelling tools, techniques and applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
