Job Summary
Our client based in Centurion, is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician. This role is ideal for a qualified professional who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on petrol and diesel vehicles.
- Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault-finding with accuracy and efficiency.
- Work confidently across various vehicle makes and models, both light and commercial.
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify issues and complete necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate job cards and service records in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure workshop safety and cleanliness at all times.
- Provide exceptional service to clients and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician (Trade Test Certificate essential).
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the automotive industry.
- Proficient in working on both petrol and diesel engines.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Own, fully equipped toolbox (non-negotiable).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Grade 12
- Clean Criminal Record
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
- Passionate about the automotive industry and staying up-to-date with vehicle technology.
