To support National DCS to coordinate monitoring and evaluation of the relevant programme activities, ensuring submission of accurate and credible data from all regions

Minimum Requirements
Diploma in health/ public health/ social sciences or another relevant field
Accredited Certification in M&E and database management is essential
Minimum of 4 years' experience within M&E and data management coupled with maintaining and/or updating databases; data verification and quality assurance
Minimum of 4 years' experience in data collection, data analysis and report submission
Exposure with HIV, AIDS and STI programme data
Net, DHIS and information management expertise
Must have experience working within the DCS environment
Proficiency in English & any other African language
Valid code 8 driver's licence and own transport
Clear criminal record

Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that all correctional centres use stardardized recording tools e.g. TIER.Net.
Determine training needs for National and Regional DCS staff
Plan and prepare training and training tools for National DCS staff
Manage all aspects of the TIER.Net databases
Ensure that all data captured and reported is accurate
Implement mitigating practices to address all challenges and human errors with data capturing and reporting
Oversee the monitoring and matching of all data reconciliation reports on a regular basis; ensure resolution and follow ups are performed on all data discrepancies
Assist in maintaining data compliance according to funder requirements and THC and DCS policies
Oversee and review monthly verification assessments for data and complete the monthly verification report template
Conduct routine data quality checks within the specified time frames
Ensure that National DCS office host regular data review and usage meetings
Actively participate and co-facilitate DRUM meetings as required
Provide consistent and reliable data reporting to National DCS and THC management
Collect dispatches from all correctional centres to upload into the national TIER.Net repository
Maintain TIER.Net database for all correctional centres
Compile data as determined and required by National DCS
Undertake routine analysis of programme data for programme improvement
Summarise outcomes of specific projects and project objectives
Attend workshops, meetings and trainings as required
