Merchandising Assistant (apparel Manufacturing)
Job Description
(Area:) Pinetown(Salary:) Market Related(Ref: AG)Our client seeks to urgently appoint Merchandising Assistants with at least 3+ years direct clothing manufacturing experience. Solid knowledge of garment rating, fabric bases, garment construction and production processes are essential. Must have worked on SYNC and able to run cost sheets and manage MS Excel spreadsheets. Relationship management with buyers, planners and QA's is key to this position. Responsibilities also include arranging of strike-offs and Lab-dips from China, monitoring/ tracking shipments and delivery dates, and ensuring bulk sampling is received timeously, as well as raising fabric orders.
