Job Description


Matric is essential and appropriate qualification
Excellent presentation abilities
Knowledge of : cardiology, neurosurgery, endovascular surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery and/or cardiothoracic surgery would be preferred
Experience in delivering continuing professional development programs is advantageous
Must be able to travel both locally and internationally.
Must be able to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends or public holidays when required to
Evaluate needs of the organisation/Crossroads Education Institute (CEI) and plan continuing professional development programs accordingly.
Responsible for the overall development, implementation and evaluation of all CEI programs (internal and external) together with the CEI team.
Interact with internal and external stakeholders and build relationships with all key opinion leaders (KOLs) to assist with the development of CEI CPD programs, to achieve training outcomes.
Liaise with course director to ensure that all programs adhere to the unbiased educational guidelines.
Running and overseeing of all Crossroads Education Institute programs (internal and external) using both leadership and management principles.
Research and assess methodologies and techniques to assist with the evaluation of training programs.
Prepare and implement training budget and ensure all training is carried out within budget and up to the required standard.
Embrace development of strategic plans within the department
Enhance and innovate the leadership in medical education.
Provide a consultancy service to KOLs to assist with the development of content and teaching techniques for sessions/programs for academic congresses/societies/private educational programs.
Assist in the development of multimedia visual aids and presentations.
Drive the understanding of how CEI contributes to improved patient outcomes.
Facilitate skills and knowledge transfer within the CEI department and the company.
Oversee the day to day running of CEI facilities, venue bookings and AV equipment.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations at all levels.
