Job Description

Job Purpose and Summary The rolexe2x80x99s primary function is the maintenance of equipment at the companyxe2x80x99s production facility and customer sites in line with the companyxe2x80x99s Health and Safety protocols. This will include but not limited to performing the day-to-day activities and all aspects that are required in the maintenance department. The job scope will include project work for new customer sites. Planning and Administration:

• Ensure all control documents are completed and submitted timeously.
• Daily submission of job cards and vehicle inspections.
• Weekly submission of time sheets.
• Customers sign off of completed site work (emergencies and routine maintenance).

Service and Maintenance: Installation, fault finding and maintenance on mechanical equipment such as:

• o Regulators
• o Heat exchangers
• o Actuated ball valves
• o Non return valves
• o Hydraulic hoses
• o Couplings and drive gear
• o Flow meters
• o Safety valves
• o Pumps
• o Compressors

Installation, fault finding and maintenance on electrical systems and infrastructure such as -

• Alternators, Motors, single-phase and three-phase, Switch gear low voltage, Fuses, Lights, Socket outlets, Inverters/ ups on low voltage and extra low voltage control panels

Understand and read PLC programs for fault finding and diagnostic on instrumentation to the system. Installation, fault finding and maintenance on instrumentation such as:-

• Pressure transducers
• Thermocouplexe2x80x99s
• Water and oil level sensors
• Gas Detectors
• Vibration Sensors
• Flowmeters
• PLC panels
• Commissioning of new customer installations.

Training

• Customer training during commissioning of new installations.

General

• Maintain a neat and organized work environment.
• Conduct any other reasonable request by management from time to time.
• Conduct weekly meter readings and monthly stock take.
• Maintain spares stock in the vehicle.
• Keep the companyxe2x80x99s equipment in good working conditions.

Requirements, Skills and experience

• Trade Tested Millwright
• At least 3 years of working as a Millwright.
• SAGA Gas Practitioner license would be advantageous.
• Must have pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, regulators, power generation, electrical in hazardous area, instrumentation, mechanical and PLC experience.
• Preferably have hands-on technical experience working within Gas / energy pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
• LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) experience would be advantageous.
• Computer literacy in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
• Must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s license.
• Will be required to work on a shift basis and standby as per operational requirements.
• Medically fit to work at heights.
