Key outputs
Assist Preparing Engines and Test cell components for testing while conforming to OEM standards and customer requirements while maintaining an orderly and safe workplace. Primary duties are to operate the Crane, forklift, hand tools and trolley tugs to remove and install components in dyno and test cell areas. Assist the artisans in performing moderate to complex maintenance and repair work on machines and / or components. machines and / or components Know which tools are used for which jobs and ensure the mechanic / technician has them within reach Physically lift, keep in place and / or move up to 20kg or use appropriate lifting and slinging equipment for objects larger in size Clean and maintain facilities and equipment Assist artisan to obtain and check parts for particular jobs Maintain a safe and orderly workplace

Ad hoc artisan instructions Wrapping of Wip parts in inspection and assembly
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Matric or Equivalent
Ability to obtain certification as forklift operator within 90 days of appointment
Ability to obtain certification as overhead / jib crane operator within 90 days of appointment
Ability to follow instructions under supervision
* Rotate between departments on an ad hoc basis
