Job Description
Our client in the Engineering industry is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer/Technologist: Build Service in Granger Bay, Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections.
- Prepare simple designs.
- Calculate data.
- Attend site meetings and inspections.
- Prepare cost estimates.
- Project updates and daily work records.
- Assigned regularly to any type of mechanical engineering work, i.e., buildings, roads, parks, sewers, structures, for regular assignment or training.
- To be involved in building structures which includes large Retail Shopping Centres, Commercial Office buildings with deep basements, high-rise apartment buildings, Housing township developments and single residential luxury homes, Industrial Distribution Centres and Factories.
- 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in building services (HVAC, Wet services, Fire).
- BSc/BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Own transport.
- Revit software experience would be an advantage.
- Dependent on experience and qualification.
