The Role
As Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and optimising mechanical systems and components - from concept to production - ensuring functionality, reliability, and quality.
You'll also play a key role in testing materials, conducting analyses, and supporting the implementation of product and process innovations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and review mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
Develop technical specifications and ensure designs meet performance and safety standards.
Conduct failure analyses, material testing, and performance validation.
Collaborate with production and product development teams to resolve design or manufacturing challenges.
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve production processes and ergonomics.
Manage project documentation, including design reports, drawings, and approvals.
Apply 3D modelling and simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD, DEM) to assess mechanical integrity.
Qualifications & Experience
BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or product engineering.
Proficiency in MS Office and simulation software such as ANSYS (FEA, CFD, DEM).
Experience with Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD platforms preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
