Where will the successful candidate fit in?





The Marketing Traffic Coordinator is a key operational role responsible for managing the workflow, scheduling, and coordination of internal marketing projects. This individual ensures smooth communication between teams, manages external supplier relationships, supports financial administration, and contributes to a well-structured marketing ecosystem.

Key Objectives



1. Project Management



Lead and manage assigned internal marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives. Break down projects into manageable tasks, create detailed timelines, and monitor progress. Identify potential risks and roadblocks and take proactive steps to mitigate them. Deliver clear and consistent project updates and status reports to stakeholders.

2. Traffic Management



Deconstruct incoming briefs into clear, actionable tasks and assign them to the appropriate team members. Help assign, track, and manage workloads within the marketing team. Ensure seamless workflow by monitoring project and task timelines, ensuring interconnected tasks progress efficiently. Facilitate effective internal communication and collaboration. Provide support and guidance to team members where needed.

3. Supplier Management



Source and manage relationships with external suppliers for marketing materials, services, or events. Assist in negotiating pricing, deliverables, and timelines. Ensure the quality and timely delivery of materials and services as per agreed terms. Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers professionally and promptly.

4. Financial Administration



Ensure accurate and timely creation and approval of Purchase Orders. Track and manage marketing budgets in collaboration with the team. Maintain up-to-date reporting on budgetary spend related to marketing activities.

5. Communication



Maintain clear and effective communication with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on tasks, project status, and responsibilities. Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and drive the success of marketing initiatives.

6. Additional Duties



Stay informed about industry trends and marketing best practices. Proactively identify and suggest improvements to internal processes and workflows. Carry out any other reasonable tasks as may be required.

Requirements



Matric Certificate is essential Diploma and/or bachelor's degree in marketing, Project Management or a related field would be preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in traffic management or project management in a similar environment. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred proficiency in Asana and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with supplier management a plus. Quick learner and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
