Role Summary Strengthen companys reputation towards relevant target groups within the general public in terms of advertising strategies and programmes based on the global brand strategy, editorials and PR. Accountabilities / Key Performance Areas Support all divisions in the area of marketing communications Co-ordination of communication marketing activities that are relevant for more than one division. Contribute to global communication activities by providing contents for group channels Define country related content strategy (target groups, content, channel) Establish relevant local media mix and communicate Advises and assists in the production of all advertising material to ensure a suitable product range & comply with PR standard Ensures the organizations advertising budget and expense is controlled & related research is maintained Ensures all job reports and editorials are completed and technical spec checked Content creation in terms of text, image and video Web content management, online marketing and data analytics. Communicate and building relationship with all sales divisions in company Africa, to ensure effective and efficient customer brand affinity and awareness, through which all product editorials, advertising, job reports and customer feedback as well as advertising done on all events company would partake in. Ensuring all budgets and expenses is controlled in terms of each divisions requirements Organising and overseeing market research in conjunction with all divisions Writing press releases and arranging press conferences Assessing the results of a marketing campaign and reports on media coverage Helping to drive online web-related campaigns, writing relevant content, managing all media related publications as well as social media. Overseeing content production (adverts, videos, social media and online PR profile) Maintaining and developing the company media plan for all division and ensuring that all adverts are placed strategically with maximum exposure and benefit
Education Bachelors Degree in Communications/PR/Journalism or Marketing Years of Experience Specify: Minimum 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in PR, corporate communications, marketing, customer service, sales, and / or office administration. Extensive company product knowledge would be an advantage. Knowledge of digital and print production processes, including design, layout, printing and digital publications. Experience in managing social media platforms would be advantageous Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel; as well as knowledge of MEDIA / Visio programs.
