National Brands Limited operates five world-class manufacturing facilities across South Africa, including Isando (Johannesburg), Rosslyn (Pretoria), Westmead and Durban (KZN). NBL proudly produces some of the country's most iconic tea, coffee, and creamer brands, as well as a delicious portfolio of savoury and sweet biscuits and mouth-watering snacks.
We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Manager to join the Rosslyn Snacks Factory in Pretoria, and be part of producing South Africa's most iconic snacks, including Willards chips, Big Korn Bites, and Cheese Curls. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Key Performance Areas

• Drive high efficiency, excellent quality, and minimal waste across operations
• Collaborate effectively with support functions to ensure optimal production
• Manage cost-effective labour in line with MANMAPS standards
• Analyse historical production issues to mitigate future risks
• Ensure SOPs, work instructions, and operational specifications are implemented and adhered to
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams
• Empower staff through goal setting and performance management
• Implement effective business strategies
• Manage operational budgets and ensure cost effectiveness
• Support CapEx projects and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ, QMS, and food safety standards

Minimum Requirements
Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' Production/Operations/Manufacturing Management experience in a Unionised FMCG environment
• Food Manufacturing experience highly advantageous
• Experience with Continuous Processing and High-Speed Packaging Machinery is a strong advantage

Qualifications

• Completed tertiary qualification: National Diploma / BTech / BEng (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering) or Production Management
• Additional qualification in Production Management would be an advantage
