To assume full responsibility and accountability of the total portfolio under the control of CRR, KZN Region with the aim of maximising collection effectiveness and efficiency.
To ensure strategies are aligned and meet compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. To manage functions and processes in order to achieve the departmental goals within the agreed budgets and cost factors. Drive the collection strategy in VAF and Home Loan areas. To give assistance to our business partners on deteriorating risk accounts on, inter alia, to prevent such accounts from becoming non-performing loans.
To ensure that staff are competent and trained and that the correct culture and leadership qualities are introduced and maintained.

Ensure rigorous cost focus to support the achievement of cost targets, including continuous improvement, optimisation of processes and new sourcing approaches. Continue to implement innovative approaches to provide quality service to clients that is appropriate and adds most benefit (leveraging our partners' expertise) through a Service and Vendor Management Framework (supported by MI and dashboards). Deliver services in accordance with prevailing internal and external requirements and proactively mitigate risk through an effective control framework. Ensure high quality execution of transition, change, optimisation and automation initiatives. Empower our employees to make a difference through the implementation of our people programmes with emphasis on a continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

  • Completed Matric
  • Business Commerce Degree
  • Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: Management Development Certificate
Experience
  • 7 - 10 years experience in Collections or Operations Environment.
  • At least 3 to 4 years' experience with exposure to various products.
  • At least 3 to 4 years' experience in General Banking.
