Manager: PSSD Warranty & Service Administration
within the Product Support and Service Division at our Head Office in Germiston. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) or Advanced Diploma in Commercial, Business, or a related Financial field, complemented by at least six years of relevant work experience and a minimum of three years in a leadership role. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (NQF 7) or Advanced Diploma in Commercial, Business, or a related Financial field
EXPERIENCE:
6 years of relevant work experience.
A minimum of three years in a leadership role.
SUMMARY OF JOB ROLE:
1. Manages Organisation Unit:
Stays abreast of plans, policies & procedures
Provides input into the strategic plan for this organisational function
Manages the human resources as per structure
Implements procedural & policy changes
Engages with internal stakeholders to facilitate business process flow
Implements special projects
2. Change Leadership:
Leads change from the front by setting an example
Approves change initiatives & communication plan
Puts communication channels in place

3. Warranty Management:
Coordinating warranty information flow from operational units/production
Implementing control processes for Warranties
Issuing of warranty contracts
Performing warranty checks
Documenting/updating systems with warranty inspection decisions & outcomes
Collaborating with internal technical stakeholders in the authorisation of claim
Analysing marketing & sales reports
Consistently following-up to meet registration cycle times
Monitoring completeness & submission of documentation
Checking for valid authorisation signatures for new machine registration
Overseeing/monitoring activations of warrantiesOverseeing & monitoring procedural adherence
Monitoring timeous capturing of claims in factory sytems
Coordinating/overseeing workflows between stakeholders
Monitoring correct processing of paperwork
Monitoring SAP work order data capture
Communicates & collaborates with factories & OEM stakeholders
Maintaining manuals, SOPs & related documentation
Informing internal stakeholders of changes
4. Parts Return Management:
Monitoring all Parts Returns Requests on the system
Aligning priorities internally to meet OEM request(s)
Communicating with operational management in respect of OEM Parts Returns Requirements
Arranges for additional requirements from OEM
Manages cross-border Parts Returns for compliance to legislation & internal procedure
Managing the creation of the FC part numbers & kits
Monitoring correctness of data
Monitors parts flow for each step in the process
Coordinating communication regarding parts from OEM &
key process stakeholders
Monitors correctness & completeness of paperwork
Monitors deadline adherence & alerts stakeholders timeously
Drafts Parts Returns management reports
Suggest process improvements
5. Field Campaign Management:
Analysing FC requirements & details
Informing internal stakeholders of FC requirements
Overseeing the correct work order creation in SAP
Collaborating with Parts Division
Managing the creation of the FC part numbers & kits
Monitoring correctness of data
Monitors parts flow for each step in the process
Coordinating communication regarding parts from OEM &
key process stakeholders
Monitoring correctness & completeness of paperwork
Monitoring warranty claim submission linked to Field Campaigns
Negotiating extention to deadlines with OEM in case of problems
Monitoring problem cases & issues
Sending out reminders to stakeholders for compliance with requriements within deadlines
Overseeing & monitoring procedural adherence
Monitoring timeous capturing of claims in factory sytems
Coordinating/overseeing workflows between stakeholders
Monitoring correct processing of paperwork
Tracks the shipment & delivery of field campaign parts from OEM to KSA
Follows-up & resolves bottlenecks when parts arrive in SA ports
Monitors filing of required documents (manual/electronic)
Monitors procedural compliance
Monitors financial processes e.g. credit notes
Drafts Field Campaign management reports
