Our client has an opportunity available for a Manager in Project Job Adverts based in Centurion.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree- essential.
• 8 years relevant experience in managing a multibillion-rand construction and mining MEGA Project.
• Certificate of Fitness- essential.
• Competence in MS Office Relevant Packages- essential.
• South African citizen.

• Closely monitor contractor schedules, progress reports, site instructions and other project documents on an ongoing basis.
• Coordinate plans and estimates, including budgets and timescales.
• Prepare and present documents as required.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and strive for excellence.
• Ensure compliance to policies, systems, procedures, and legislation and adhere to sound corporate governance principles.
• Implement portfolio targets in alignment with legislation and charters.
• Facilitate Quality Assurance on contracts and provide guidance to Contract Specialists.
• Identify and manage project risks.
• Engage with various project stakeholders
• Create an environment that focuses on process execution excellence, high performance, and improvement.
• Provide commercial and financial inputs where required.
• Contribute to execution of MLOMP strategy and targets.
• Contribute to lifecycle processes and controls.
• Facilitate and maintain a healthy environment and safe operations.
• Facilitate compliance to applicable SHE policies and procedures in line with set standards.
• Ensure good housekeeping principles are upheld in the workplace.
• Encourage a culture that focuses on safety in all operation.
