My client is seeking a dedicated and strategic Manager for Application Development. As the Manager of Application Development, you will be responsible for leading a team that monitors, analyzes, designs, and develops software applications crucial to the business operations. This role involves creating new applications, as well as maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems to ensure seamless business functioning.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Extensive experience (10 - 15 years) in ICT management, including leadership roles.
- Profound knowledge of software solution skills and application architecture and design thinking.
- Hold relevant Information Technology certifications, such as ITIL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of Business/System Analyst concepts and SDLC conceptual model.
- Competent in strategic planning and budgeting, with a focus on cost control.
- Demonstrated decision-making skills and experience in project management.
- Ability to maintain standards and policies while ensuring adherence to industry best practices in software development, project management, testing, and ICT governance.
