Candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Big 5 Game Reserve is essential
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in assistant lodge management
  • One of you to be a qualified field guide
  • Must be very strong in administration
  • Have experience in managing a team
  • Must have strong managerial capabilities
  • Both must have a valid RSA Drivers License & PDP
  • One of you must have a valid DEAT registration (Limpopo)
  • Both of you must be mature and responsible
  • Positive attitude and approach toward team work
  • Hands on approach towards guest experience
  • Ability to take initiative and problem solving
  • Excellent guest interaction skills
  • Sound administration, accounts and stock control knowledge
  • Have a strong eye for detail with regards to all lodge rooms, service & food
  • Must have strong leadership and communication skills verbal and written
  • Able to add value to the team by ensuring that company policy and procedure is carried out and by bringing a very solid service ethic to the Lodge
