to join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting to support decision-making across our support service departments. In this role, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to provide clear analysis, guidance, and financial insights that drive performance. You will also lead the monthly and quarterly management reporting cycles, as well as the Budgeting and Three-Year Plan processes, ensuring high-quality consolidated outputs. Key Responsibilities
Financial reporting for support services cost centres departments monthly.
Assist with managing the budgeting and Three-year plan consolidation cycles, and preparing the consolidated information.
Assisting and preparing the information for input into the budgeting and three-year plan processes and preparing the final submissions.
Assisting and preparing the information for the forecasting process (including ad-hoc forecasting requests and investigations).
Review, report and feedback on the actual expenditure of Support Services.
Periodic review of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure they are correct.
Communicate finance information to relevant business stakeholders to assist with making the right financial decisions through reporting and engagement.
Monitoring of expenses and reporting on exceptions.
Assist with any ad hoc requests related to the portfolio.
Qualifications
B Comm with articles is the minimum educational requirement, with CA (SA), CIMA, ACCA advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years general accounting experience post articles is essential.
Previous experience in Management Accounting within a retail environment is advantageous.
Experience in leading a team is important.
Proficiency in the latest Microsoft/ G-suite packages is an essential requirement.
Experience in creation and preparation of presentations.
Good presentation and communication skills.
A strong logical and analytical ability with excellent numerical skills.
The ability to be accurate and pay attention to detail.
Has a high energy level, is performance-driven and deadline-orientated.
Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
Ability to remain flexible, function under pressure and maintain a positive attitude and work performance in a variety of circumstances.
