Job Description
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in budgeting, costing, and hold a completed CIMA qualification.
In this role, you will be required to travel to the Congo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvement across the organization.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly management accounts, to aid in decision-making.
- CIMA Expertise: Leverage your completed CIMA qualification to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
- Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to assess the impact of business decisions on profitability and financial health.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Completed CIMA qualification (non-negotiable).
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably in the logistics and supply chain industry.
