A Manufacturing company is looking for a vibrant individual to join their Management Accountant in finance.
This role will be required to travel to Congo.

As the Bookkeeper you will be responsible for the below:

• Develop, monitor, and manage budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
• Provide support in the forecasting process to enable effective planning.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results with budgeted or forecasted figures.
• Identify trends, analyze financial performance, and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
• Monitor and control costs to optimize resource utilization.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to cost-effective operations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and relevant regulations.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance.
• Analyze and interpret performance metrics to assist management in making data-driven decisions.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks by identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement risk management strategies.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial considerations are integrated into business initiatives.
• Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements.
• Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Prepare necessary documentation and responses to audit inquiries.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to financial processes and reporting.
• Propose and implement enhancements to streamline financial operations.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed CIMA (Non-negotiable).
Completed degree in Finance.
7 -10 years experience in a similar role in finance.
