A client in the agricultural chemical sector is looking for a Maintenance Team Leader who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance of all equipment and facilities used in the production and distribution of agricultural chemicals. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and that all applicable safety and environmental regulations are complied with.

• Install and maintain all plant Instrumentation, Electrical and Mechanical Equipment and

Systems. * Maintain Maintenance Connection works orders and Preventive Maintenance Schedules.

• Carry out routine inspections and functionality checks as per schedule on different plant sections and raise a works order for defects where required.
• Pneumatic and Electronic calibrations of Plant.
• Installation and Maintenance of any new plant.
• Fault finding on Pumps and electrical circuits xc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x80x9c Troubleshooting.
• Clean and maintain all instruments and electrical equipment on the plant.
• Execute work orders and Scheduled tasks.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the workshop and plants.
• Ensure that all safety standards are maintained
• Identify problem areas and implement proactive maintenance and plant improvement corrective action.
• Optimise MMU reliability by continually improving the preventative maintenance system through the identification of opportunities for improvement.
• Install and maintain irrigation equipment pumps and water hydraulic systems/boreholes.
• Perform safety and health inspections and implement corrective action.
• Training and development of the Operators

• Matric / Grade 12.
• N3 Electrical
• Minimum of 5 years of Millwright experience
• Must have experience working on irrigation equipment.
• Must have experience working with hand tools such as jigsaws, drilling machines, bench grinders, and machinery.
• Must have experience working on pneumatics.
• Hands-on technical, experience is essential.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• A good understanding and knowledge of safety standards, quality management, and production processes.
• Must be able to read electrical schematics.
