Job Description
The camp features three exclusive River View Villas, each with a rooftop starbed, private plunge pool, and stunning river views, providing the ultimate in luxury. The two River Suites offer exceptional comfort and privacy with beautiful views of the river. For families, we offer four elegant garden-view rooms, with the option of interleading rooms for an added sense of space and connection.
Candidate requirements;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance role at safari lodges
- Proven skills in electrical systems, solar power, plumbing, basic construction, and general property upkeep
- Strong project and time management skills
- Conduct preventative and routine maintenance across the property
- Respond to urgent repairs and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Manage and oversee small construction or repair projects
- Monitor and maintain solar and electrical systems to ensure optimal functioning
- Ensure proper water and plumbing systems are maintained
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and order supplies as needed
- Coordinate with other departments and work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Must be physically fit and comfortable working in a remote bush environment
