Job Description
Job Summary Job Requirements:
- Electrical/Mechanical Diploma
- Minimum 2yrs experience in related maintenance
- Drivers license
- Responsible for all farm equipment and infrastructure
- Maintaining farm equipment & facilities
- Ensure preventative maintenance gets done regularly in order to prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilities
- Manage and maintain, tractors, vehicles, bikes, pivots, pumps, buildings, pivot tracks, slurry systems, trailers and implements amongst others
- Staff efficiency and personnel management
- Workshop and surround tidiness
- Order necessary consumables
- Ordering of parts for potential and current maintenance
- Schedule preventative maintenance
- Dedicated and self-motivated
- Strong organizational skills
- Career, not job orientated
- Eager to learn and improve
- Ability to cope in a demanding work environment
- Leadership skills
- Speak Xhosa (preferable)
