Job Description
Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Maintenance Manager to join their dynamic team in Mpumalanga (Piet Retief).
:
- Develop an effective maintenance strategy for the Sawmill
- Ensure planned maintenance and statutory maintenance take place as per maintenance plan
- Ensure that a Preventative Maintenance Program is maintained
- Maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair mechanical & electrical elements of equipment to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure maintenance and machine operational problems are evaluated and solutions determined and implemented
- Provide technical support to problems which cannot be readily solved by responsible technicians
- Ensure that Maintenance personnel are trained on a regular basis to support the Sawmill requirements.
- Ensure that parts and services are procured in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensuring compliance with the organisation's Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance of equipment is maintained.
- Delivery of projects within agreed budgets and time frames
- Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Degree/Diploma or Certificated engineer (GCC)
- At least 8-10 years industry maintenance management experience
- Ability to manage a maintenance teams of artisans
- Good communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be fast-paced with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
