Karkloof Area - KwaZulu-Natal:
This successful farming operation seeks to add a maintenance manager / packhouse technician to join their team. During packhouse season the successful candidate will be full time in the packhouse to ensure the smooth running of the line and out of packhouse season the candidate will be responsible for general farm maintenance work.?
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Packhouse
Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture or related field (advantageous). Previous packhouse management experience (preferably in Avo's). Strong technical and mechanical aptitude; knowledge of processing & packaging essential. Ability to manage and motivate a large workforce. Previous cold room experience. Sound knowledge of export logistics.
Farm Maintenance
Relevant Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous. Min of 3 years previous experience in this field. Computer literate. Mechanically and maintenance orientated essential. Proven experience in maintaining the following:
o General maintenance.
o Electrical.
o Servicing of tractors.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with and motivate a team. * Valid driver's license.
