Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the lodge premises.
Conduct regular inspections, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
Manage a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure top-quality workmanship.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and spare parts inventory.
Collaborate effectively with suppliers and contractors, ensuring timely procurement of quality materials and services.
Uphold safety standards, creating a secure environment for guests, staff, and wildlife.

Requirements:
Trade, diploma, or degree in the electrical field.
Proven experience in maintenance management within the luxury hospitality industry, preferably in a 5-star lodge or resort.
Strong technical expertise in electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritising tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental sustainability practices.
Willingness to reside on-site, available to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of regular working hours.
