Lodge Maintenance Manager

About the Role:
As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of lodge upkeep, from preventative maintenance and repairs to managing a small, dynamic team. You'll work closely with management to uphold our high standards, ensuring every area of the lodge operates efficiently and looks its best.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance operations across the lodge, guest rooms, public areas, and grounds.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Manage and train the maintenance team to deliver top-quality workmanship.
• Respond promptly to urgent repairs and guest-related maintenance requests.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally in the hospitality or lodge industry.
• Strong technical knowledge across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
• Physically fit and capable of hands-on work when needed.
• Valid driver's license.
