Job Description
Requirements:
- BSc or BTech Degree or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Gov't Certificate of Competence - Factories
- 8+ years' experience in manufacturing machinery maintenance
- Continuous improvement knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with systems would be an advantage (Maximo;AMP/TQ)
- Ensure the plant realises maintenance full potential and areas for improvement are identified
- Adhere to and promote SHERQ & Food Safety standards
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure safety, efficiency, quality control, budgetary control, service, and cost-effective management of resources
- Ensure that each area of plant is maintained to achieve maximum availability and equipment capacity cost effectively
- Manage the implementation of effective risk mitigation measures to reduce quality incidents to zero major or repeat findings during audits and inspections
