Maintenance Handyman
Job Description
3-5 years' experience as a handyman in a retirement village or hotel environment.
Minimum requirements
Minimum Matric
Artisan qualification or Trade based experience
Excellent command of the English language
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
Perform general maintenance related tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting work.
Repair or replace worn-out or damaged fixtures, furniture, doors, windows, and other property elements.
Have basic knowledge and experience to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair minor issues with plumbing systems and electrical wiring.
Assist with major repairs and services.
Identify and report repair needs (Preventative maintenance).
Basic knowledge/training on a variety of hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment.
Pool maintenance.
Ensure maintenance standards are maintained within the buildings.
To be involved with Health & Safety and to ensure that Health & Safety directives are carried out.
Communicate with Maintenance manager daily regarding maintenance issues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to R10150,00 per month
