Maintenance Fitter Automotive ~ Manufacturing
Port Elizabeth - Eastern Cape - South Africa
Reporting to the Toolroom Foreman, you will conduct mechanical engineering inspections, repairs, and maintenance on equipment and infrastructure to minimise failures and disruptions in production operations.
Essential Requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4) and a Trade Test in Fitting or Fitting and Turning (NQF 5).
- Essential that you have up to 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical competencies are essential, including proficiency in basic MS Office and ERP systems and knowledge of maintenance methodologies, SOPs, and safety principles.
- The role demands excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Behavioural competencies include proactivity, adaptability, planning, and effective communication.
- Essential PE or Eastern Cape residents only.
