Job Description
Maintenance Fitter, Northern Suburbs, Cape Town R25,000-R35,000 CTC
Requirements:
- At least 3 years working experience in a FMCG environment doing mechanical maintenance and fault finding on machines, including exposure to basic hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Trade tested N3 fitter or fitter-and-turner with at least 5 years continuous experience in plant maintenance and fault finding
- Matric Certificate
- Well developed problem solving skills
- A team player
- Strong analytical and technical skills/ methodical
- Working knowledge of plant safety procedures
- Improvement mentality
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Continuous improvement culture
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Good timekeeping
