Our client in the automotive component manufacturing industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Machine Shop Robotics Engineer.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in the field of engineering (ND or BTech).
- Qualified Trade Tested Artisan Advantageous.
- 5 Years Robotics experience with regards to programming, commissioning, fault finding and implementation of any robotics application.
- Programming experience in Gantry and PLC integrated systems.
- Understanding and program of Vision systems and distortion machines.
- Daily cycle optimization.
- Continuous improvement in production.
- Production/ technical support.
- Programming and optimization for all robotic/ gantry requirements (KUKA, FANUC and Promot).
- Debug any robotic programming and equipment.
- CNC Communication, interfacing, and implementation.
- CNC Robotic Cell Automation and Maintenance.
- Knowledge and understanding of Vision Systems and implementation of the system.
- Knowledge and understanding of PLC interfaces (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff).
